Tuesday
burst! explode!
small progress feels huge!

i'm suddenly completely absorbed and obsessed.
perhaps it is because i am avoiding things like essays and study.

ghostly violin has been added at last!
i'm also excited about my attempt to improve the sound quality.
listen for youself and compare.
please give comments and tips or hints openly! i very may have just mussed it all up more, or there may be more to improve.

here are my other notes to ponder:
*do these files play in quicktime for you? they do on my mac, but not on this dell.
*i've commissioned my temporarily german brother to record some bass.
*i'm seeking a drummer (likely tara's brother) to replace the hideous canned drum beat.

for comparison sake:

  • the old ghost sound

  • the updated ghost sound w/ violin, courtesy of tara martin.

  • to assist a possible drummer:

  • our cat, sans canned drum w/obnoxious metronome click

  • in conclusion, i would like to state that i am slowly learning, slowly. if the sound files do not work or have poor sound quality, then tell me quickly and i will stop trying to teach myself what aidan already knows how to do. don't hate me for trying! to assist my learning tell me how to turn stupid windows media files to quicktime, and what is better to convert files to instead of mp3. is there such a thing as an mp4?

    yours,
    julia
