music collaboration.
Tuesday
more ghost, less stream
it's julia's ghost cat song!
we now have somewhat of a system set up for sharing music now, this is good.
we still have to find out how to share garageband files over gmail or limewire (size depending)
this is the first time i have ever collaborated over the internet for music; i am learning
as i go. i'm sure julia would say the same.

maybe we'll even have some new friends by the end (cross fingers, please!)

brainstorm.

i tried to send the mp3 file last night but it didn't want to send, so I'm thinking the garage band file might be a no go. unless I just give you the smallest loop possible?

this whole process is hindered by campus internet. even downloading through limewire is a pain but we should give it a go.

i could convert the seperate parts into mp3s and post them on soundclick so you can download them? it'd be like a puzzle.

there is a funny story about a microphone and why this recording sounds so poor. tee hee hee. i'll tell you later, for now i really have got to catch some shut eye. class at 8am!

here's what i am thinking;
using the direct connect on limewire
both typing in our IP address or
whatever we have to do and then we
can send files directly to each other.

yay/neigh?

also, if we are going to be sharing we should do m4a because they are just as small as mp3 and better quality! mmm quality.

This sounds like it will work. I just don't know what you mean by IP address. Educate me, aidan.
